Utopian Bike Tour- David Ruggles Center and Friends of Northampton Trails

The David Ruggles Center (DRC) is collaborating with Friends of Northampton Trails (FNT) to offer a guided bike tour of the notable homesteads and landmarks of the mid-19th century Utopian community experiment in Florence, MA that sought to create a society based on equality of race, class and gender. Tom Goldscheider, a member of the Ruggles Center General Committee, will be the tour guide. The tour will be approximately 4 miles and a total of 90 minutes. Please park at the Florence Civic Center: 90 Park Street, Florence MA. All proceeds will be donated to support the work of the Ruggles Center. Tickets: $20; sliding scale $5
