DRC Open House & Reception 12-4

The Ruggles Center will host an Open House and reception Sunday afternoon during our weekly open hours from 12-4. Those attending the Kathy Bullock event at Bombyx can walk down to the museum between the afternoon sessions. Docents will be available to discuss the exhibits, which focus on 19th century antislavery activists who lived in Florence including abolitionist icons David Ruggles, Sojourner Truth, Lydia Maria Childs, the members of the antislavery utopian Northampton Association, and the community of self-emancipated Black men and women who lived nearby. All are welcome!
